  1. No Monday night.  We are on the 12am ferry on Tuesday.
  2. Hi All, Is anyone laying up this side of the channel beforehand? We are planning on spending the night before in a hotel in Folkstone if anyone is around. Cheers Tim
  3. Will be taking(all for a TR6) 1) a complete ignition set for the 6 (e.g. complete dizzy and leads with coil plus a set of plugs). Also running amethyst but could bypass if needed 2) clutch master and slave 3) an assortment of pipes, jubilee clips and wire 4) Fuel pump (can't bring a spare water pump as the one have has been modified for the supercharger) 5) Accelerator cable (Saved me 40 miles from the end of the last RBRR) 6) plenty of relevant fluids (Including silicone brake fluid) 7) bulbs/fuses/relays etc 8) fan belt (specifically for the supercharger setup)   Cheers Tim
  4. Didn't get that. Have emailed Ellis. Do we know where the Midlands meeting is? Cheers Tim
  5. Fab.  Thanks for the info. Do we know when the drivers meeting with be?
  6. Hi all, Newby question I know we have the evening stops all sorted, but how do we decide on the routes between.  Is it like the RBRR where we get a route book or is it every person for themselves? Cheers Tim
  7. Found it... ended up in the spam! Panic over
  8. Hi all, quick question. I ordered my ferry tickets through the company the cloud suggested. All very smooth, but don't have any confirmation.  Should I have received anything through the post by now? cheers tim
  9. Any thoughts about accomodation for the saturday night? TIm
  10. Hi all, How do we go about sorting accomodation for the run. Do we know where we will be each night? Cheers tim
  11. Someone say supercharger....? We're doing it in the supercharged TR6 fresh from destroying the gearbox during the RBRR (made it home but synchromesh was ropey!).. been promised that the gearbox is now bullet proof.. we'll see.. Question is do we run at 4 or 7 psi boost? Cheers tim

  13. We've done the last 2 using navfree which worked well but seems to have gone down hill recently. So we are going to use HERE wego.. seems OK.. you can download maps so you don't need 4G (good for the Scottish highlands) and once entered the way points appear on a map.. so you just click and go.. hopefully should be OK
  14. Certainly surreal.. we were in the first 10 to arrive and for some reason someone decided that a deserted lane was the Weston zoyland halt.. and everyone followed... looked more like some place for dodgy late night liaisons.. When we got to the halt itself it all seemed pretty good after all at 3-4am you are not looking for a picturesque stop.. Cheers Tim
  15. Grrr! Second Head gasket has just gone on the TR6 in the past month... looks like the surface of the block is out fo true.. Engine out, going to be expensive.. at least it isn't september ! Cheers Tim
  16. Well done team for doing something that was crazy challenging.. Great plans to calmly put in my entry from home..  then my son fell of his bike and ended up in a&e! so ended up putting in the entry while waiting.. all worked fine!! Cheers tim
  17. Perfect.. quick question.. if I delete my forum account can I just come back into the forum as a member on my member account? Cheers Tim
  18. New site looks great! I assume the list of RBBR entries is just a test? Only issue I have is that it only thinks that I am a Forum user and doesn't allow me any member access. Hopefully this will get resolved? Cheers Tim
  19. Hi chaps, Managed to buy a hardtop for the TR6.. has a webasto sunroof so hoping it'll be the best of both worlds.. Stripped it down and its off for respray Tim
