BigT-DK
My 2000 radiator (mkII) looks buggered - finns are flaky etc..is there a modern alternative which would be a bolt on substitution... my local motor-factor has brand new units for volvos/saabs etc at about half the price of a new one from Triumph suppliers...should I look for flow requirements or just find one which will fit??car is taking part in the 2007 RBRR....rgrdsDaniel, Copenhagen
AlanChatterton
Don't know about a modern altenative but if can find a good radiator re-conditioner near you they should be able to re-core your existing rad for you.New ones (they are actually recond re-cored ones) are only about £85 from specialists here in the UK, but I guess the big cost is getting it to you..........?Is a good secondhand one any good to you,..........I have a few tucked away. We just need to work out logisitcs of getting it to you!

Lord Sorbington
Interesting idea, those rads are quite expensive. I'll be interested to see what others say.........A guess on my part, but I'd aim to match the diameter of the inlet and outlet pipes to the Triumph rad - they should be sized for a particular flow, as well as trying to match the actual capacity of the radiator itself, ie how much water it holds.Physical dimensions are important too, obviously.....
