piman
Hello 69Vitesse,"More Madonna than Sabrina."Going from the pictures of Sabrina, I don't think the engine was well named? Dors would have been more appropriate or does the engine pre date her?Alec
Tim Bancroft
Triumph eh, what a company never frightened to look at new ideas and then leave the customer to do the testing!Probably a good thing that they never introduced the twin cam engine as it may have blighted the TR range? As for the shape, how about Anita Ekberg, phew! Blimey, Bob Dylan mentioned her in song, she must have been 'Of the moment'. The trouble with Dors and Mansfield was that they seem so suburban, wheras Monroe, Taylor, Gardner etc seem so exotic. Richard B
Looking at the duplex chain gear. Thats what they should have done to the Stag engine.
Hogie
Hi Alec, regarding the angular shape - it is a bit abrupt but I'm sure it is practicle. More Lady Gaga than Maddona inmy mind.Roger
