Ridgetone Triumph
If you are handy with a welder, then Bilsteins (Mercedes Benz) now theres quality. I took these off my 450se and fitted them to my 280se, The same shocks then were removed and fitted to my Vauxhall Victor 3300, before finding there way to the race car, so from 1977 to 2009 can't say Merc quality is not good ;DI have only replaced them last year when one started to seep oil :B£30 and now I have a replacement set ;)RegardsPete (Back on form again)

DJB_Harvey
Well thanks for all the replies chaps , I think I'm going to give a pair of Koni's a try a quality brand so they should give good results . The 12 year old Spax's are destined for the bin ! They've been reliable but always noisy especially when cold .
