carmadmike
Hi allI have just finished polly bushing the front subframe and suspension on my Dolomite Sprint. When I took the engine out the near side of the car was higher than the off side at the front. I surpose this was to compesate for the wait of the engine. Now I have put it all back together again it doent seam as high on the near side. I am wondering if I have mixed up the springs and or shock absorbers. Is there any diferance between them and how can you tell. Also is there away of Checking if the front of the car is at the right hight. Thanks Mike.
partsaver
There is no differenve between the two sides so the hieght difference must have been caused by either something worn or badly fitted.
Darren Sharp
I think your problem is simply that you have taken the weight off the springs. I wouldnot assume anything is wrong until you have driven the car about for a while. My own dolomite did something similar.
