Freebird
I have noticed recently that my Vitesse seems to roll more than it used to. I fitted new drop links a while ago, so had a look at the bushes. These look original and pretty perished, so I ordered some spanky blue poly jobbies. There were two sizes listed, 11/16" for early cars and 7/8" for late ones. I guessed wrongly that my 1969 car would have a 7/8" bar. It was raining and I was too lazy to go and measure it - fool. So, I now fancy getting a 7/8" antiroll bar and clamps to go with my new bushes. Will it result in a noticable improvement or should I save £50 or so and just get the right bushes for my existing one?Glen.
Clive
Get the right bushes, if you use the later ARB (it is meant for cars with the swing-spring setup) it will make thigs unbalanced. Been there.....

ferny
Contact the place you got the bushes from. If they're clean and not damaged they might take them back and exchange them.
herald948
I agree with Clive: go for the correct Bushes. You might find the car corners a bit flatter with the fatter bar, but you're as likely to find that it now also ploughs like a Ferguson tractor. :X
Nick Jones
Vitesse have enough plough tendancy with the standard bar - you don't want a thicker one!Nick
