marshman777
Just bought an old steering wheel for a few quid which is in decent condition, apart from the leather round the wheel in one spot. Would like to change the leather on the wheel but can't find a seller of steering wheel leather. Anyone know where i can get one.Andy
G.in_Lux
I know a chap who will redo the steering wheel, as I'll be going to him in the very near future.Bascharage in Luxembourg might be a bit far for you though...Do you know of any upholsteries locally? They should be able to do the job.

Jonny-Jimbo
Had a similar post (was that you as well), worth looking on there. If not, I have a magazine at home with an article in about how to re-trim wheels etc. could be worth a look at least? Can't find any leather yet mind. Was hoping it to be my little christmas project, but unless i can find the correct leather i am stuck.ThanksAndy
Hugh
It's not an easy thing to do well I have watched people trimming steering wheels in the Bentley leather trim shop. You need a leather that has been scarffed which is shaved on the back face very thin leather you find such leather on high quality Sofas, coats or jackets even handbags. I hope this helps you in finding a suitable leather.
Jonny-Jimbo
I'll do it in a few days. PM me with your prefered email address.Half an idea the mag also has places you can source stuff from. mind you the amount you'd need for a steering wheel could almost be classed as an offcut.
