Andy Borris
I know you can get brand new racks for MGs, made in S. America (of all places!), didn't know you could get repro racks for Triumphs. What's the chances of the internals being the same?
Nick Jones
Bit doubtful but you could take them to bits and look. It's not hard. Just keep the shims where they came from and watch out for the little locating dowel in the pinion bush 'cause it likes to jump out and hide. Why do you want to mix and match?Nick
Andy Borris
The thinner bodied one of the two is fitted and has about a 1/2 inch of play around the straight ahead position, the fatter one will need the rack mounts modifying to fit and the ends chopped off. Looked pretty much like the original, but wondering how long it's going to last nevertheless :-/
