ResinRocket Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 I got an advisory on my MOT about play in the steering rack, which I've narrowed down to the balljoints. Does anyone know what size bore shims should be used? I know Canley Classics sell them but I have a number of different shims in a tin, and wanted to see if I have anything suitable before ordering anything. Plus I have no idea how many shims to order!Of course, I could dismantle the balljoint and have a look but I use the car regularly and could do with having it in bits as little as possible!
