GTTR6
HiI hope someone can help me with some dimensions please I've found a correct MK1 steering wheel that's missing the plastic part of the boss that holds the hornpush, now I think I would be more likely to find unicorn droppings than one of these so I need to make one, can anyone give me the height please? Any help would be most appreciated.CheersJerry

robink
Hi,I'm the person replicating them on my own build 3D printer and I'm hoping to get something around 18 pounds for one set (top and bottom) ex. shipping. Would this be fine for you?some pics of the part :the glossy parts you see is ofcourse what you get ;) but the first one is how it comes out of the printer the second is after sandpapering and the glossy one is finished :)Robin

These are replications of the plastic covers. The splined part is a metal piece, which can be sourced and made to fit from other steering wheels as used for tr4 spitfire herald or gt6. Richard B
Thats because you are thinking in 2D ;D3D printing is multiple 2D prints laid on top of each other. Think about building a bricklayer building a house :)
Paudman
i haven’t 2D to rub together… ;D

robink
oh btw... here are the dimensions of the horn push I'm currently printing ;) they're not exact because some are a bit bigger because it wouldn't fit at first with this dimensions ;)pics with the dimensions are here : http://robin-k.nl/cloud/public.php?service=files&t=a88782832ea24eef7496201342c28886Custom parts are also possible... small changes are free but if it is a lot different I will maybe charge 2-3 pounds more ;) and shipping to england with track and trace is cheapest way possible 11 pounds... but I will try to find out how much it is without track and trace ;) (I'm from the Netherlands ;))if you ever need anything else 3D printed just send me a pm !greetings Robin
