Nick Jones Posted November 26, 2011 Share Posted November 26, 2011 Quick rack (original rack with 7 tooth pinion) now fitted with solid mounts. Much pointier. Steers like a car rather than a boat now and great on sweeping B roads :). Quite a big weight penalty though. Looks like roller top mounts...... :-/. Properly set up ones with new PTFE washers make a massive difference to the weight of the steering. New Witor top mounts on my saloon felt a bit like having power steering.
