sahtuning2000 Posted June 15, 2008 Share Posted June 15, 2008 Well after a complete nightmare of a day changing the lower column bush on my mk1and the thread on the top of the shaft being totally knacked i now need a complete sheering shaft,URGENTLY!!!its in bits ,shaft removed etc,and in my neighbours parking spaceif anyone has one i can buy please contact me ASAP,both thread/splines,bushes must be fine,no play etc...... sahtuning2000 Posted June 18, 2008 Author Share Posted June 18, 2008 Colin,Job done,CW had one,all fited up,one more future MOT failure sorted,along with the worn shaft U/JS,i,ve inspected the rest of the car,it MIGHT get another MOT but its tight,its very tatty and several parts/welding is borderline,i,il post some pics soon,i do think i need a nice pair of static belts,the drivers is fraid.
