Clive
spit 1-3 had small flanges on the box, mkIV/1500 large flanges. All heralds (origiginally!!! some have been swapped) had small flanges on the diff. You probably have a mkIV spitfire box, and to fit that you will need a propshaft from a non-overdrive vitesse, to get the correct length. The spiotfire one will be too short, seehttp://www.canleyclassics.com/?xhtml=xhtml/infodatabase/propshafts.html&xsl=infodatabase.xsl
Richard B
You can change the flanges between large and small. The U/J's are the same.If you get a Vitesse prop you will need a small flange at the rear.
