Shynsy
Hi all, Newby question I know we have the evening stops all sorted, but how do we decide on the routes between. Is it like the RBRR where we get a route book or is it every person for themselves? Cheers Tim
Tim Hunt
Tim, In the past a road book with the complete recommended route has always been provided at the drivers' meeting allowing time to transfer it to decent scale maps and/or sat nav. There will be opportunities to take short cuts if running late. I see no reason why this year's event will be any different. There is provision in the road book to obtain the signature of a Club official confirming each country visited. A suitable receipt or photographic evidence are acceptable. Batch
Tim Ellis Stokes sent out the email below with details which you should have received, have you checked your spam All the best Dave ellis.stokes@club.triumph.org.uk 19/06/2019 5:53 PM 1 Club Triumph ... the club for all Triumphs Hi everyone I hope the car prep is going well... I've just last week finished a long write up for the mag showing highlights of the run - there are some really amazing roads to look forward to. Over the next couple of weeks, I'll be finalising details for the drivers briefings in the UK. These are likely to be Monday 19th August in Potters Bar, and Tuesday 20th August in the Midlands (venue TBA). Please make a note of the dates and if you cannot make it, start to make arrangements for another team to to collect on your behalf. Please remember I'll have three people in my car, and will only be able to fit in those packs for the teams already on the continent (to take to the start). Also a reminder about our National Weekend / Day coming up in a couple of weeks. We are very excited about this, as it's the first time we have joined forces with the TR Drivers Club to arrange an event. Details are on the website (link below), so whether you fancy coming for the entire weekend (Friday to Sunday) camping, or just for the day on Sunday, there is something for everyone, and a chance to give your car a decent run. Be good to see you there. [Sorry, link no longer available] Best wishes Ellis StokesClub TriumphCompetitions Secretary10CR Organiser
