JohnD
See: http://vitesse.no/Garage%202005-2006.htmlEinar recommends "old Toyota seat belts". When I challenged him, he told me that they were from his own car, known to have never been in a crash, but I'm still anxious about 'old' kit for such a critical use.Just my view.John
Mark Hammond
Valid point but probably better than nothing.M.
Jonny-Jimbo
I've got some seat belts from a BMW E30 that I'm turning (slowly) into an FIA spec race car. Perfect working order when removed, but of no use to me anymore.PM me if you need belts.
Einar
Totally agree with you John, no probs. I don’t think I actually “recommended” these specific seatbelts – just what I had in hand at that time when I “wrecked” my old Toyota. The main purpose with the link was the anchor points and how the belts are fitted – not actually which seat belts. I’m considering new belts, though - probably fitted in the same way. However, I need to look a bit further into it.
