ferny Posted July 11, 2016 Share Posted July 11, 2016 Had them on mine since at least 2007. The outer surface cracks sooner than expected, but the inner is fine. Mine are now ovalled inside and have been due replacing for a while now, but still fine for the MOT. Keep in mind I (used to) do a lot of miles in the car. Jonny-Jimbo Posted July 12, 2016 Share Posted July 12, 2016 I'd either go for Canleys ones or Chris Witors's Superflex.From memory the Canley ones are one piece that you have to squooze through and the Superflex ones are two piece top-hat. I need to get a set for my RBRR car, I've not decided which of the two acceptable options to run with yet. The reports I've read on the cheap ones match the exact failure modes I'd expect of corners being cut in the curing process, rapid deformation and degradation of the polyurethane material,Cheers,Bill.
