xebec
Hi,My GT6 Overdrive Propshaft has a grease nipple on the rear end. Is this supposed to be greased as I cannot find anything about this in the relevant manuals? This grease nipple is on the prop itself and not on the UJ. What is the function of this please?Rgds, Ken
hypoid53
Its purpose is to lubricate the sliding yoke section on the rear propshaft splines. It usually has a blanking plug in place to maintain the balance of the prop; but if yours is Ok leave it in place. Give it a couple of shots of grease with a gun.. ;) ;)
