Alfie
Is there a measurement for each type of drive shaft.

If there is slight discrepancy then I just used a zip tie up to the spring
HMaze
on short drive shafts the brake hose is directly mounted to the wheel cylinder,on long driveshafts there is an additional brake line between the brake hose and the wheel cylinder on the brake back plate.Harry
stevegt6
I would suggest whatever length they/the website tells you, add an inch or two - better to be bit long than bit shortBought mine as front/rear kit (mk3 GT6) - fronts ok but rears are, imo, an inch too short as when jack up, say to change wheel or whtever, the flexi-hose goes real tight. I shall be replacing them at some point in near future for bit longer ones
Alfie
If that's the case then mine must be the short drive shafts as the hoses currently fitted are direct into the slave cylinder.
Pete Lewis
this is a bit of a flyer but the long shafts would go with the swing spring the short pipe and bracket is to stop the large spring eye of the swinger from chafing thro the direct fit short shaft flex route.Pete
