loose trunion bush

You mean the brass trunnion itself is loose on the vertical link?(the trunnion bushes are the nylon inserts that go into the trunnion and bolt it to the wishbone)
Is the vertical link thread worn?
If so it means a new vertical link, but as they are getting very rare and costly you may find that the replacement cost is getting quite near to the trunnion upgrade
If the vertical link is OK then there seems to be something wrong with the brass trunnion itself
