Trunnion alternatives

Well not so much troublesome I guess as a bit difficult to live with and awkward to maintain. Having now checked out the alternatives with Canley Classics I think I'll stick with the originals until I win the lottery!

Exactly the same as virtually any part of any classic car - look after it and it will look after you. Now yes, everything has a limited service life, but usually when your trunnion breaks it's because of years of mis-maintenance.

And to say we're traditionalists would be true to an extent - but almost every car in the club that I can think of has been modified in some way. Not all, but most.
