front trunnion!

When I rebuilt that bit of my car the trunnion wouldn't come off the upright. We teased it with fire, long bars, clamps, everything, but it just wouldn't unscrew! God knows how I steered with it! I got a second hand upright of a local member and fitted a new trunnion to that :)

Mine is loos on the upright , i can twist it around.. but how do i get that damn thing off ??

I think you need to loosen the caliper and ..

Caliper off, remove the front hub/disc. Then you can take it off and replace.
Do not forget, NO GREASE just gear oil. And worth poking out the oilway up the upright too, often got grease in them.

and the gear oil.. i need to get some..
