Alan Armstrong
Hi, I may have to remove the window runner (affixed to the bottom of the glass). (its corroded and needs work) Is this easy to do, and is the replacement seal just a push in type fitment please? KR
thescrapman
If that rotten it will just pull off, if not a little bit of persuasion will shift it. hammer new one on with a rubber mallet
Alan Armstrong Posted Sunday at 11:22 Author Share Posted Sunday at 11:22 Hi, Found out this channel runner is scrap. As Im looking for 2nd hand replacements, are the same runners used on other triumph models? For instance on ebay there is one from a tr4A...ebay item number : 405294832746... Also I need a pivot for the winder mechanism...shows on Canley and Rimmers as no longer available.. again...can you use alternatives? Any help much appreciated
Steve AKA vitessesteve Posted Sunday at 11:37 Share Posted Sunday at 11:37 Canley Classics have a large stock of used parts. Always worth asking them if they have something in their stores. I have also sourced used items from Wins International.
