bleeding the brakes

after changeing the master cylinder rubber when bleeding the brakes what order do you bleed the brakes in . im told its furthest wheel away first yet my manual says right front first.
also when i reaseemble do i need to fill the chamber pump the pedal before i bleed or just fill the chamber and work my eway round bleeding each wheel

According to Girling, all-drum brakes are bled beginning from the rear, but disc/drum combination is bled beginning from the front. Girling also noted that the rear adjusters should be brought up tight and the front ones slackened off (drums only, of course) to "reduce the space in the cylinders."
