So  we were planning to lend Marmite to friends to do the raid, their spitfire has engine trouble,   however would you believe that on the 103 mile drive from Darren to my house, ( I was driving Marmite, Darren in Olaf, ) the accelerator pedal broke away from its mounting and the throttle stuck open on full  revs halfway through the journey. A running botch job got it to my house but sadly Marmite is relegated to my garage until a more permanent fix can be done.  Linda and Mike will be in their modern.  ☹️
