GT6Craig
After adjusting the valve clearences ive noticed that my engine stumbles when i turn the ignition off (it continues to run for a second). im putting this down to timing as i messed around with the dizzy to get access to the spark plugs, ill have a play with it tomorrow as ive got hold of a strobe.Have any of you guys got any tips? im unaware if the engines ever been rebuilt so im doubting how much ill achieve by setting the timing by the book - surely an engine of 40 years might be a little out of tolerance by now?it also seems all the timing advice online is different to the manual :-/So what would be a sensible plan of action?Cheers!
