Gavin
Post non firing cyclinder, on trying to set up carbs as described previously I've have found the front one is fine but the rear carb (stromberg cd 150's) initially is fine but after running a short time it starts dripping petrol and then the rear three cylinders stop firing ..... I'm suspecting a float problem - both carbs have only done 1500 miles since being reconditioned .... ahhhhhGavin

vit6iw
I had the same problem with a dripping front carb a few weeks ago on a run. It was OK at speed but on idle it was lumpy. The needle valves were new and I couldn't see any evidence of dirt (I've got an in-line filter fitted). Bending the shut-off arm on the float so that the fuel level was lowered in the float bowl has sorted it.Denis
