Lord Sorbington Posted February 11, 2008 Share Posted February 11, 2008 No msn address but give me a call if you get stuck.Don't be surprised if you get some crud in the float valve when you've refitted the carbs. This will cause the carb to flood and the engine to stall. I think that little bits of rubber / fabric come off of the petrol hoses as you remove / refit them and end up in the float valves.Fitting new rubber fuel hoses in the underbonnet area will minimise the chances of this happening.
