Hey everyone!

Well, there was no petrol in the float chambers...they were bone dry! A bit of throttle pumping, engine turning and they started filling up, the rear one then the front.

Also, one of the piston springs were dodgy so I had that replaced with one of the ones from my waxstats.

The engine does run...quite nicely, idle is a little high, the mixture is too rich but both carburettors are balanced now. Just a case of fine tuning it (there is a nice 30+ page step by step on the Haynes manual!).

Anyway, there is still a fair bit too do in that respect.

With regard to the MOT...not as good news, more on that in my other (more befitting) thread.
