tamagotchi
Hi all, a very simple question i hope. I bought one of these grease guns to oil my front lower trunnions ('69 mk2 GT6). The gun's instruction manual says to fill with a grease cartridge, but as I need to fill with oil do i just literally fill the gun with oil or do i need an oil cartridge?*sorry for the newb question*
Richard B
WIth oil, EP90. As they are grease guns be prepared for leaks from the canister etc, but enough should go in.You will see clean oil oozing under the rubber cap at the top of the trunnion when you have pumped in enough. rotoflex
If you find yourself dripping oil everywhere & struggling to hold onto the gun while thinking that it's the most insane operation you've ever undertaken, bear in mind you're not the first to get there. bxbodger
The small gun from halfords is surprisinly effective with oil, don't fill it with any more oil than you need as it will leak out later and leave a mess everywhere! Use it upside down for least mess.......
