Dorian
My PI has one of those spin on oil filter conversions with an oil cooler plumbed into the adapter plate. I don't know if its thermostatically controlled but does anyone know how much more oil I should need for an oilchange? Also, does the cooler drain down or do I need to take the pipes off? Richard B
If there is a thermostat it is a separate unit in the pipe work before the oli cooler. Have a look at the Think Automotive website. There are two different types of Mocol thermostats (the usual UK ones). Probably about another pint; depends if it drains when you change the oil.
