rappo984
Hi Guys,I may have sourced a NOS Triumph Dolomite offside inner wing for my 1300 FWD. My question is will it fit? I have compared the NOS 1300 nearside inner wing I already have and all looks good, the holes are all in the right places etc... But the front end of the Dolomite wing is obviously different which I understand. I think with a little fettling it can be done, but are there any problems in fitment, I haven't identified though??Thanks again.
mikeyb
I think that the only significant difference is extra length in front of the turret.I have not managed to locate mine, all I can think is that it did get sold, sorry

Jonny-Jimbo
I'm heading to Coventry this evening - If I get a chance I'll see if the FWD is there I saw and drop a note through the door if it is in reference to the boot floor. Jonny-Jimbo
Sorry bud, never made the trip in the end as my house developed an internal water feature... Oh well, fun paddling into the kitchen.Hopefully will be making a social call to Cov during next week so will swing by then.
DaveKent
1300 fwd inner wing is completely different shape ahead of the turret. It has the mounting for the bonnet stay pressed into it, and the top edge is angled towards the centreline if the car. whereas Toledo/Dolomite wings run almost parallel to the centreline. DaveKent
You can get new old stock inner wings for 1300FWD from the Triumph Dolomite club; that's where I got mine from last year-there are still a few about.
