sparky_spit
I know this is showing a motorcycle engine, but it could be just as useful for our Triumph engines.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bT1nRq-cM7M

Hogie
I can;t believe it. Our cars are worth between £5,000 and £50,000 and we are looking at 4 plastic spoons and a hand drill. Stunned.Roger

bxbodger
I'd love to have seen/heard it run afterwards. Small strokers are pretty tolerant of a bit of bore wear and piston slap but that takes the biscuit. How on earth would you be able to ensure consistency all the way down? He couldn't have been serious!

sparky_spit
Quoted from GT6 M Mr Sparky Mike,is this an early April fools Vid,!!M What? Me post fake news mickey-taking videos? Never! Some of the funniest Ichiban-Moto vids are modifications for Japanese superbikes. I saw one where he was making a performance exhaust manifold for a GSXR1200, or something similar, out of cardboard toilet rolls and tinfoil. In his deadly serious voice he advises that some areas will get extremely hot and so he wraps them with elasticated bandage; the type you'd put on your arm or leg. With his dead pan style of delivery I just laughed till I cried. If you're daft like me, have a look at some on Youtube and I dare you not to laugh.PS - have a look at the tool making videos, especially the torque wrench. Maybe I've just got an infantile sense of humour...
