Bilco Posted May 18, 2013 Share Posted May 18, 2013 Running into some minor snags with the RV8 conversion. Sorry if this has been asked a million times before! The alternator arrangement I have is way too tall for bonnet clearance (I dont want a bonnet bulge!). Current set up shown below. What's the best options for alternator type to hook up the Stag electrics and which bracket works best? Cheers for any info and some pictures of other owners set up would be great. harvey Posted May 20, 2013 Share Posted May 20, 2013 The SD1 alternator bracket has the alternator underneath, but as standard that has the drive on the crank and the waterpump further forward. You may be able to move your alternator backwards on that bracket to get it to line up with your other two pulleys. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
