Bung it on ebay for about 20 quid Jason, the spitfire column is common fitment on kit cars, and TR7 rally boys want this kind of thing as they are thin on the ground so has an audience for selling.

You will be pleased how the new boss fits and your driving position will be much more comfortable....glad you got sorted too  ;)

There is another way,My self I never liked the ring of alloy around the center, made the spokes look too laal.
so decided to tinker awy and sort it oot.
the ring can be cut away, and it nearly matches the wols in the original boss,
so I welded a bit of alloy on to extend the spokes, and drilled holes to new extension bits to fit into
original boss. looks okeedokee to me,  have a deek at the pic,see what ye think
