Jimmmy0_0
Hi AllI am looking for some new tyres for my spitfire. The ones that I have been looking at are: Avon ZT5, Goodyear DuraGrip and Toyo 350. I do drive the car hard and also use it for autosolos, so I am used to them not lasting as long as an eco car.Has anyone used these tyres or have and opinion's about them? Any feedback on other tyres would be good. Thanks James
Clive
I reckon the goodyear out of that bunch.....................But you really need to get a set of autosolo wheels ;)
Jimmmy0_0
I have a set of 5.5j rims. I just need to get them blasted and painted that will be for next year tho.
Clive
Crumbly old 4.5j's here for testing, with tyres that are a bit old for the road on the rear, and nice yoko low profiles for the front. However, I am concerned I may not get 13" wheels on my spit when it is eventually finished :oIf you want some old 175/70's let me know, I may have a few kicking about. Deleted User
No problem getting 175/70x13's or 185/60x13's online in lots of varieties from http://www.camskill.co.uk/ or http://www.mytyres.co.uk/start.htmlCamskill's do a great range of track day tyres for the more hooligan element amongst you. Slowdown
Got Toyo 350's on my GT6 Mk3 - seem to suit it very well.
Doug Paterson
Swapped from 155/80R13 to 175/80R13 (Yoko A-Drives). Huge improvement, not just in handling but in ride smoothness too. Can't really fault them.
