Callyspoy
hi folks, quick question...I have some cobra slots on my herald estate, running 205/60/13's at the rear and 185/70/13 at the front.Rears are fine, with a bit of lip work on the wing! The fronts though rub on the arches on bounce/hard braking.I am going to lower the front end on adjustable height dampers in the coming months, so it should also stiffen the front ride up.But...i do want to fit different tyres on the front. I was thinking 165/70/13? Would that look too narrow? I am trying to get them as useable as possible you see!Any tips, please do say!CheersCallum

Callyspoy
That was my original thought, what are they like with clearance at the front?
Steve P
I have 6 inch revo`s on my Vitesse with 175/65/13 Pirellis on the front, they dont rub or foul. The car is lowered and stiffened.
ferny
My alloys are 5.5j's with (I think) 0 offset. Widest I can go is 175 80 r13 and I had to bash the lip on the arch away. But my the front is just over an inch lower than standard.

Callyspoy
After having a think, i will probably go with the 175/65/13 as Steve P.Looking at the picture, they seem to sit nicely within the arch. Obviously i know offset will have an effect, i just dont want to buy tyres, then lower the car and be disappointed! If anyone has any pics to try and persuade me towards other sizes, please feel free!
