sparky_spit
Agreed. For standard-ish looks, 155/80. For optimum performance with near standard-ish looks, 175/70. I did a lot of digging around on this when I was choosing new tyres for 4.5J 13" Courier wheels, and settled on Avon CR335(355?whatever?) 175/70. If you want a pic to see how they look, let me know. sparky_spit
They are CR322 (I knew there was a 3 in there somewhere...) 175/70/13 on 4.5J Courier wheels.
GT6Craig
they look awesome! cheers mate, and they dont scrape on the arches?
sparky_spit
No, they don't scrape the arches. They are replacing 5.5J steels which also just fitted under the arches okay. Mind you, it's on a Mk3 Spit with short shafts, so on a long shaft car they will be 1" further out at the rear. But this should still be okay based upon the fact that a 5.5J/short-shaft combination was fine. I assume your Mk1 GT6 is still on short shafts (?) and so would be fine.
