Engine turret

Hi gang, me again.....

So, both turrets are back on the car, with the jack dropped. I put the engine mounts on the outside of the turrets if that makes sense (this may be where i went wrong....). Does it seem to be at too much of an upward angle??

Here are the shots below. it all seems to be too high at the front to me.

Maybe this can be of some help:

The engine is almost resting on the steering rack.

The front turrets are desigend to be canted like that, and to mount the engine slight tlited backwards.
The holes in the chassis rails dictate this and unless they have worn oval, most unlikely, then the angle is correct.

Here is a shot from the front. I just dont remember it being so high above the brake line, i may be wrong though.

Looks fine to me. Only question would be were did you mount the rear mounting plate? Under the xchassis lip or over the chassis lip? It will only make a small difference but this could change the look.
