markcro
I was at a car show last week and another GT6 owner had wide rims on his GT6 that took 175 width wheels. These were identical to the standard GT6 Mk.3 steel wheels bar they were wider. They were on his car when he bought it. They really looked well. I don't want to get mini-lites or other alloys, so does anyone know where these steel wheels could be found? Thanks.
thescrapman
They are what are known a 5.5J GT6 rims, though they were never actually fitted as standard to GT6's. Came from Formula Ford maybe.Watch Ebay, they come up regularly.£100 to £200 a set depending on condition.Go well with 185/60 tyres as well.CheersColin

migntig
I always thought that the MkIII GT6 had 5.5" rims as a cost option? 3 out of 3 cars I have owned have had them on, I still have a set in the shed that need a refurb before going on ebay.Steve.
