Just had a look at Rimmers;

Sprint Wheel Nuts- 7/16 UNF  from 1976             UKC5476

Sprint Wheel Nuts- 3/8 UNF to 1976                    UKC849

So you have the later ones, you could either upgrade your wheel studs to 2.5 Spec or buy another set of smaller wheelnuts. Know what I'd do  8)

ps Rimmers list aluminium OE nuts or steel replacement ones.

You can fit big Saloon studs to Spitfire / GT6 hubs. Just done it   :)

Had to grind a flat in the side (of base) of the studs for the front hubs.

As the GT6 / Dolomite use the same size small studs & the Spint uses the big Saloon size studs; I'd expect them to be ok.
