simonedwardscamera
Hello all,Lucked into these rather fine wheels on a popular online auction site...Needed four new tyres but figured that four tyres plus rims would be a more cost effective method. They need a refurb but I think theyll be ok on my Wedgewood 13/60 CV.Does anyone know anything about them? They are made by 100+ and are a 5.5Jx13 fitment. I've searched everywhere and discovered that they are popular with Fiat and BMW classic drivers but other than that there seems to be a bit of an internet blackout.Any help gladly received, as ever.Cheers,Simon
Deleted User
100+ Quatro? Early 70's and about £18 a corner back in the day IIRC.
Hugh
They could be 1970'S BRM ,ATS, Chromodora or even Gotti alloys off an Alfa Romeo or Lancia who have 4 stud fitting, they look Italian designed to me :)They are nice anyway
ferny
They're nice. By the looks of them you may need a spacer though as they may sit too far inside the arches. Depends on how much metal is on the hub side of the wheel!
simonedwardscamera
Thanks for all the positive comments.I'm planning on a refurb if anyone has a recommendation for a Gloucestershire company and probably will go for a dark grey paint inside the spokes and rim rather than the matt black they are now. They are definitely 100+ brand, with a very prominent "Made in England" but I can see why they could be mistaken for Italian.I wasn't sure at first the more I look at them I think they'll look pretty good on a Herald and definitely make it stand out from the normal aftermarket wheels.Once it gets sorted I will post some photo's for approval/disapproval!
