thescrapman
You don't anymore really, that is a van size now, and they are scary on cars.185/70-13 maybe.Or fit 14inch wheelsPlenty of discussion on this subject in the archives.CheersColinp.s. I have a set of 30 year old ones you can have for free, loads of tread left!
thescrapman
The only 1 I could find was a Blackcircles budget buy 8-ply re-inforced N rated at £47 a shot.£188 a set and you will be in a ditch as soon as you reach the heady heights of 87mph which is what the tyres are rated for.:-(Colin
AlanChatterton
No longer available.Either go to Stag 14" alloys (2500 S Alloys) or if you want to keep the rostyle trims you need a set of MKI Stag 14" steel wheel, fit 185/70/14 tyres and 14" MKI Stag rostyle trims and it looks the same and keep the rolling radius pretty close.I am going to do the latter to my PI as I have 185/80/13's on..... but they need replacing. Saw a 2.5PI at the NEC on the 2000 Register stand who had done exactly this and it looked fine. You could only really tell if you got down and looked at the tyre sizes. GT6DavidMK1
Cheaper changing the wheels than trying to find tyres :P 185/80/13 no longer available, unless you go through Vintage tyres for old stock tyre, which would be very expensive :(David. Richard B
Trouble is the 185/80 x 13 was only standard on the 2.5PI. No other car used it.
