mazfg
As part of my overhaul, I want to clean up and paint my calipers. Finish isn't too important, just don't want that rust look to be on them. Thought about black hammerite, would this ne up to the job (although will actually be using smoothrite)
Stu 1986
I have painted calipers on my XJ8 and I used special Caliper paint. But as usual good prep work pays off, make sure you get as much junk off as you can and get back down to the metal, then paint away :) My Herald's Calipers and rear drums match nicely and are painted red. 8)

MSter
Use hammertie its miles cheaper than caliper paint and i have always got a good finish whether i rub them down or not plus there is more of a selection of colours or mix your own!!!Attached a picture of mine i apologise this is not a triumph!! GT6 M
No need to go to any thing fancy, just use a good quality ..Trade.. gloss, Macs, Johnstones, ect, but trade, as its diff frae DIY. the calipers do not get hot enough to warrant any thing fancy. Infact, my engines , for the last 30 odd years have only been painted with ordinary gloss. M
